Are you moving to or within Tilburg? Welcome to our municipality!
It is important to register online with the municipality of Tilburg. You can register your move from four weeks before the move until five days after the move. Please note: you may be fined if you do not register in time!
Good to know: the municipality notifies your health insurer, the tax authorities and DUO of the change of address. This means that you do not need to notify them of your change of address. You will still have to notify your GP, bank, educational institution and sports club, for example.
Do not forget to register with a GP and dentist in Tilburg. Here you can read more about registering with healthcare providers. It is compulsory for everyone to have health insurance.
Are you moving from abroad or staying in Tilburg for at least 4 months in the next six months?
Within five days of your arrival in Tilburg, you must personally register with the municipality. Make an appointment to register at Stadswinkel Centrum.
Do not forget to deregister at the end of your study period. You can make an appointment to deregister, but you can also use a form. You can send this form to Municipality of Tilburg, Department of Services, SK1 / room 10, Antwoordnummer 300, 5000 WB Tilburg.

The International Center can help international students with registration. With the 'Help Desks' they offer free support to international students in the broadest sense: translating letters, applying for insurance/benefits, providing guidance, providing information in the broadest sense, and more.
